Our team is getting ready to provide emergency disaster assistance within the Bryant Neighborhood.

  • FRS Radios. The team is preparing for the next emergency when communications are interrupted. Remember the ice storm in Feb 2021?

    • Issued radios to team members and received training.

    • The next step will be to conduct regular radio practice exercises.

  • Neighborhood Supplies. The team has access to emergency supplies to help our neighbors.

    • Created a cache of emergency supplies at the Lakeridge Middle School Campus.

    • Requested Lake Oswego neighborhood grant for 2022-2023 to continue to improve supplies.

We need you to ensure all our Bryant neighbors are safe in case of natural disaster.

  • Volunteer with the team. The team needs to expand participation from different sections of the Bryant Neighborhood in order to better coordinate preparations and first response. If you are interested contact the BNA Emergency Prep Team.

  • Start a block-level, 15 to 20-home, Map Your Neighborhood program. The Map Your Neighborhood program is a grassroots effort to guide you and your neighbors through simple steps to help enhance your preparedness for an emergency. Learn how to rely on each other during the hours or days before fire, medical, police or utility responders arrive. More information can be found at the PrepLO site. Once established, block captains may reach out to BNA Emergency Prep Team to become part of our communication network.
